The Audio Alarm Sensor is part of the CentralAlert Notification System by Serene Innovations. It sends to the CentralAlert receiver to notify you when audio devices such as smoke/fire or carbon monoxide alarms are activated. It also works with newer T3/T4 alarms. It can be installed next to the audio sources or directly connected.
In order to be notified, you will need to purchase a compatible receiver (see Accessories box).

Will this work for fire alarms also? I live in an apartment building, so the fire alarm sounds are generated from somewhere outside our apartment, so putting it next to a fire alarm isn't possible. (I think we do have a smoke alarm though.)
Yes, you can install this next to fire alarms too. It can be installed next to any alert or loud sound that you need to detect.

The website was easy to navigate. My daughter's audio alarm sensor stopped working after 10 years. This was a replacement. Quick shipment. We synced it up to her bed shaker and lights. All works fine.

I purchased the Serene Innovations CentralAlert CA-PX Receiver/Pager
HC-CAPX along with 2 Serene Innovations CentralAlert CA-AX Audio Alarm Sensor
HC-CAAX and 1 Serene Innovations CentralAlert Notification System CA-BX Baby Cry Sensor
HC-CABX I would not recommend this system to even a hearing person It is very inaccurate the pager has a very powerful vib lights noise which would be great if it was quick or had any form of accuracy by the time it picks up that your baby is crying they have been crying for a while and have to reach screaming portions for there gry s to be picked up no matter what sensitivity you set it on problem is baby call monitor gives false alarms bay crys shows house alarm house alarm goes off sometimes shows sometimes does not .

I have this product to work with Nest Fire/Smoke/CA alarm and it works wonderfully. This transmitter would send a message to my clock that the battery is low so I could replace it quickly without guessing if the battery is still good or not.
I recommend this product along with the CA-360.
